I don't trust WeTransfer anymore.

This week I read an article in the Volkskrant newspaper about WeTransfer's new terms and conditions. In short: WeTransfer grants itself a "perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license" for everything you upload.
That's not an innocent addition in the fine print. WeTransfer has always been known for its reliability and privacy. I understand that tech companies are eager to acquire content to train their AI bots. But as soon as we photographers have to worry about confidential images (sometimes involving a huge amount of money) suddenly ending up in the hands of whoever has no idea who, I'm out. And probably with me, and hopefully many other professionals in the creative sector. Especially not if, like me, you're a paying user. This is also completely unjustifiable for my own clients.
The recent price increase from €12.00 to €23.00 per month, without any improvement in service, only makes this choice easier.
I'm canceling WeTransfer immediately. Not just out of principle, but mainly out of necessity. Companies that make such missteps and then suddenly lie to their customers don't deserve a place in my workflow and will be blacklisted immediately.
